Welcome
to a new adventure in agriculture. Join us, the Leonard family, at our
working dairy farm to visit the animals, walk through the corn (during maze
season) and learn about modern farming techniques. We'll be glad to show
you how we take care of our 300 cows that produce the milk in your
fridge.
Just about an hour from Northern Virginia you can be riding a hay wagon
around the farm and learning first hand about cow life from baby calves to
the adult dairy cows that are producing "nature's most nearly perfect"
food. We are proud to show you our herd of 300 Holstein cows and some of
our farm equipment we use to farm 1800 acres in Fauquier County, VA.

Even today we are vigilant in our efforts to protect the US Agriculture
Industry from any Bio-Security breeches. We are asking for your help to
protect the health of the animals in our care and in this country. We
continue to ask that if you have been out of the United States within 14
days of your scheduled visit to the farm, please reschedule until such
time that your foreign visit will be outside the recommended 14 day
waiting period.
We sincerely
apologize if the restriction causes any disappointment or inconvenience.
However, precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of introducing
any kind of highly infectious diseases.
Your cooperation and assistance is greatly appreciated.
We are also booking school & group tours for dates now through November 2010. Bring your school, play group, scout troop or others out to learn and play on the farm! Visit the Group Tour page for more information.
